Just wonder what you guys think of the Tenzing packs. I need a bigger pack and looked at these and really liked them but I also like Badlands. I have a Badlands day pack and love it but I'm looking at Tenzing TZ5000. Do you guys like them? Please give me some info
I was looking at the Tenzing 5000 too. I bought an Eberlestock JP9 earlier this year without trying it on and doing everything up. BIG MISTAKE. I'm 6'2" with a long torso ( 21") The Eberlestock sits too high. I tried on the Tenzing 5000 and unfortunetly it also sits too high. I was hoping this pack would be the one. Does anyone know if companpies can make custom harness or if there are any good packs for longer torso guys ? I'm looking for a pack that i can use as a day pack but also expands to haul meat if a guy is successful.
Bought the 5k this year and love it! Packed out 3 elk with it and a antelope (first trips). I put a front, backstrap, and misc meat cuts in and off. Some loads would be around 80lbs or so and it did great. Tuff pack will have it for a while.
