Do I need better?

Hey guys trying to get opinions on if the clothing I have will be ok for a mule deer hunt in Dubois Wy this oct. I am from Michigan and hunt whitetails from October thru end December. All my outter wear is scentlok. I have lighter savanah for early in season and once temps drop I use the new full season suit. As for base layer I typically wear my UA coldgear with sweats over them. I plan on buying better base and mid layer but just have yet. I been looking at C4E but not sure if its worth the coin if I only plan on hunting out of states once a year or is C4E decent for stand hunting? So do you think I'll be comfortable with my full season if I buy better base and mid layers? Another question is camo. I. Bought my full season in vertigo grey and was not impressed this last year with it. Just not the right pattern for my set ups I guess. I'm will buying another set of full season this year most likely in AP. So what will be a better camo? Vertigo grey or realtree ap? Any other opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, WMWW

LAST EDITED ON Feb-14-13 AT 00:55AM (MST)[p]You will not need camo if you are hunting in October.

UA coldgear works fine. I do not hunt with sweats, but I know people who do.

I wear the following:

Base layer, upper and lower.
Pants, anything but cotton will work.
An extra base layer for my upper body.
Soft shell jacket.
Insulation jacket for glassing, or if it gets really cold.
Orange Beanie
gloves, usually bring two pairs.
neck gaiter for WY wind

I would bring some gaiters for snow, and a good waterproof boot. I would also recommend an extra pair of boots if you have them.

If you are dead set on upgrading your gear just for your WY hunt you could probably buy everything you need on Ebay. Just make sure you buy it in a true auction style, and get it used. I'm not sure I would buy my true base layers that way. When you get home you can sell it on Ebay, and recoup close to all your money. You might even make some cash depending on who is buying.

Good luck! Hope you enjoy your time here in WY.
