Ground blinds

Ok just started really looking at buying a blind. It would be for an archery antelope hunt and I want something big enough to have 1 or 2 kids in there with me. Cost isn't a factor here, just really shocked at how many there are now days! Thanks for any help I can get.

I just call em as I see em!

I bought the Big Mike by Barronet and really liked it. Plenty of room to pull back your bow and easy to set up. Got it on sale at Sportman Warehouse for $139 if I remember right.

For the best combo of space, quality, and versatility, go with a Double Bull (now owned by Primos). The are pricey, $300-$400, but are well made and work great. They are heavy as well, so if you want to pack them any long distances.....not ideal.

Ameristep Brotherhood Blind

Got this blind last year and used it on a water hole with my teenaged son. Worked very well and the construction is outstanding. We had a storm roll though while hunting last year. We bailed for the truck and had it not been tied down to the ground the blind would have ended up in New Jersy. The hubs were all popped funny and seemingly twisted but after an hour of bending and prying we able to get the blind back in shape without anything breaking or damage. We set the blind back up and finished our hunt successfully if I might add. :) I am a big guy, 6'3' 300#, we use 2 large armed folding chairs inside with enough room for a small cooler and for him to shoot from a kneeling position if needed. There was more than enough windows to stay in the dark all day long too with shooting access.

On my lope hunt in 2011 we used a "The Vision" from Primos and we had plenty room for two guys, our chairs, medium sized cooler, and bow. I kneeled to take my shot and still had plenty of room.

I just got a Double Bull T2 because I like the unusual style. I set it up and there is plenty of room for a shooter, cameraman, two chairs, and a small cooler. I plan on having my wife sit in with me for my elk hunt in August.

Where did you find the T2? From my understanding they don't make that model any more and I can't seem to find any for sale on the web?

I bought it used from another forumn...he used it twice.

I kow Natchez shooting supplies had them not too long ago and I think another website still has some. I can't remember the name of the site but I remember seeing them when I was researching the blind.
