I got one this summer and used it on a Wyoming deer and antelope hunt. I love it, easy to use, and the SD card land ownership map was really useful, especially in hunting new country. You see where you are, on which road you're driving so no guessing where you will end up, and where is the private land.
I was with my buddy when he shot his mule deer buck, and we wouldn't have taken the chance of getting to and shooting that buck without the GPS and chip, he was in a 400y strip of public land between private land.
So get that Oregon GPS, and get the chip, unless you're hunting solid chunks of public land. And you may want to get the chip that gives you 3-4 states for 100$, since the only difference between these and the 100$ per state chip is the more expensive one gives you the name of the landowner. Only useful if you plan to track down landowners and ask for permission. Not for me. But I only learned that after I bought my chip, but the next ones will be the multi-states bundle.
