Nikon PROSTAFF 3 Fieldscope Spotting Scope

Any inputs on this? thought it might be a good steel, the tripod that comed with it is good too. I dont have a lot of experience with spotting scopes so a lot of the numbers make no sense to me other than the weight and fov. I dont want to drop more than $500 on a scope, just looking for opinions.
