Eberlstock x1a1 help

Is this pack a internal frame pack? I thought it was and when I just got mine in, I was a little surprised at how flimsy the pack feels in my hands, feels great on my back. I played with one a year or so ago at a store and really liked it, just don't remember it to be like this.

The reviews I read on it indicated the same thing you're talking about. I'm considering getting one myself - how do you like it?

I don't think it has an internal frame though.

I ended up ordering the endo frame for it. And now I'm absolutely in love with this pack! I loaded it up with my rifle, bow and rocks for a total of 73 pounds and hiked around the lake by my house for 2.5 miles. I was tired as hell the last lap but the pack felt great the whole time! If I hadn't of had the new frame in it, it wouldn't have been so good though. Maybe around 35-40 pounds max for comfort with the frame sheet only. I'm planning on cutting the endo frame in half and slip it in right behind the frame sheet, I think it will be even more stable then! I highly recommend this pack to anyone who wants a great 1-2 day pack!
