Decent sized pack

Am I just the odd hunter or what ? I have a decent pack that is 1950 cubic inches.I was looking to get something a bit bigger to handle an extra hat, gloves, maybe sweatshirt, rain suit when necessary, spotting scope, lunch, thermos and 2 water bottles. All the packs I have looked at go from my size up to maybe 2100 ci and then jump up to the big backpacks.Anything out there around 2500 ci so that I can comfortably go out all day without trying to stuff everything into a smaller pack and then fill my pockets ? Modular would be nice for the hot days when extra water bottles are needed.

I like the Badlands Sacrifice. Used it this past year for day trips when extra gear was needed. Comfortable and held up to me slidding down some rocks!

I've liked the badlands sacrifice. It compresses small enough and is light enough to be a day pack, but expands big enough to go a few days.

I packed out 4 elk in mine this year, usually carrying a front quarter, hind quarter, and the backstraps and trimmings. Never had it tear, give out, or anything. Great little pack.

Look at the eberlystock just one J-34. It opens up fairly big, but closes down nice and tight too. It also caries a gun. Do not buy a sitka daypack. My buddy bought one for $400 Plus and broke both shoulder straps trying to carry out about 50 lbs of meat on this packs first trip to the outdoors. (pack was designed...or at least advertised to carry meat). Needless to say I carried more meat than he did that day.

-I have fought tougher men, but I really can't remember when-

Look at mystery ranch. There crewcab pack compresses down and than expanse back out and carries heavy loads real well.

I have the Sitka flash 32 and the MR crew cab. Both great packs. The Sitka is a little nicer fit wise on my torso but it is not a meat pack. I don't believe someone could break two straps unless it was being overloaded. Regardless of the advertised weight common sense should prevail. The crew cab is a tough sucker. It's heavy, but it can take anything your man enough to haul. The nice thing about MR Nice frames is you can interchange the bags without buying a completely different pack. The Sitka gets the nod for day hikes and the MR for anything more than 30lbs.

Been using an E-stock J-104 for 6 yrs,no complaints. I use it for day hunts too.Carries everything I need comfortably and is not a strain on my back.No torn material or stitches .
