I just ordered a 12x12 Cabela's Lodge Pole Tent. Got it for 300 dollars...on sale - 20% Christmas coupon. Love Cabela's. Gonna keep it warm with the Mr. Buddy heater and some hot rocks in the base of the bags if it gets too cold. I've got another idea of getting more heat out of the Mr. Buddy heater that I'll share with you once tested. Going to Ariz. for Jan. OTC Dear Bow Hunt. If anyone has any suggestions about this tent please let me know. Matt

I have the same tent and its really easy to set up and light to carry, but the MR Buddy will not keep it warm. Nothing will. The material is very thin. Maybe if you put some tarps over it to add a little insulation it would help. The Mr Buddy will take the edge off and is nice to wake up to in the morning but the heat goes right out of the tent.

I have had water freeze solid in the tent with the MR B on high.

I hook my MR B up to a bulk tank and slip the hose though the window. It will run 10 nights on high no problem but I usually just leave on about medium because it's just wasting fuel. Get a good bag and you will be fine.

I have the same tent. Used it last year in Wyoming, we got heavy snow. The tent did very well. The tent is not warm at all. I also run a big buddy heater. The tent is quick to set up. I also have a
Cabelas alakenak. I love the alakenak with my stove. But when I don't have much time, quick weekend hunts. The Lodge pole tent works great, easy set up and tear down.

add a tarp to cover it and it will help keep some heat in and wind out.

Hey how is this tent in loose or rocky ground were it cant be staked out well. And how does it hold up in the wind. I am considering it for hunting chukar. But not sure if it would work well in sand or rocks.
