Wall tent question

I am going to buy a wall tent with a sewn in floor. I know most people hate that set up but I live in the South and need it to be snake proof and bug proof to use it at home.

My question is on the frame. I have read that it is possible to use an internal frame with a sewn in floor if you get doors on both ends. Just wondering how practical this is or if I should just go with the external poles.

Thanks

Depends on how big of tent are you looking to get? The bigger the tent the harder it is to set up and yes you have to get doors at both ends.I have a 14x17 Montana canvas it was suggested that I don't have the floor sewn in. Montana canvas is really good about that call them and they can tell you more about what you are wanting in a tent

I also have a 12X20 Alaknak with a vestibule and that thing is the bomb.

I have a 12x12 alaknak with vestibule, which works great for 2 guys and okay for 3, but I don't recommend it if it's hot, but most particularly if it will be in the direct sun as it becomes a sauna in that situation.
