KUIU & TREW related?

LAST EDITED ON Nov-30-15 AT 04:32PM (MST)[p]I got an ad in the mail the other day from a company called TREW Gear. The first thing I noticed was how similar the style of the advertising was to KUIU, plus TREW is built around a Direct-To-Consumer model.

Then I see the products...same NuYarn, Dermizax NX, QuixDown, 3DeFX. Most of the materials are used by KUIU.

Then I see the KUIU tent is actually sold by TREW.

Are these companies related? Mutual partners? Anybody have any insight?

I received the same thing as well and immediately noticed the similarities. Gotta be related somehow. My only other take away was that Trew sure had some ugly color schemes on their clothing...

Possibly related to the KUIU web security issue?
KUIU had me change account info due to some security issue.
They did not say what the issue was.

Kind of odd to see a site like that come out of nowhere.
