Schnee Hunter II

I have a pair of the 13" tops. As far as pac type boots go they are great. I only use mine in deep snow conditions and they perform well. They are a useful part of my hunting boot quiver but in most circumstances I would wear my hiking boots instead.

I have a buddy that has and likes them. I think they'd be too warm for me most the time. However, there have been a few times on the late archery I think they would have been great.

I tried them on at the expo last year and want to order them myself, but I can't remember how the fit.

A friend swears by them but at the price they ask I thought I would get some other opinions.I wear a size 13 and they are tight on me so I will be ordering size 14's.

I have both the Extreme Hunter's pacs and the Beartooths I would recommend the Beartooths, or Granites most comfortable with nice stiff ankle support for rocks and steep inclines. Get insulated and order a size larger or two to account for socks and tighter fit. Extreme's are great for snow, and warmth but any incline and you will be wishing for the ankle support I wore both this year. I think any of their mountain boots would do.
