hog hunting in california

I can offer boar hunting in private land (6,000 acres) in central california. Have very good success and usaully get 200 pounders and up. I am looking for any other hunting except bird or fishing. I wouldn't mind a public land hunt, but would want you to be my guide. I don't want to be walking around on public not knowing where i am going especially in another state. Let me know thanks.

Couple of questions.

Do you apply for Arizona and/or do you hunt deer with a bow?

I did a hunt swap with a guy in CA where my buddy and I did a juniors-only muzzleloader deer hunt for his son in exchange for a pig hunt north of Paso Robles.

His son got a good 4 X 4 and we both got two pigs each. I got two boars 140-150 lbs, my buddy got two sows, one weighed 195 the other 160.

We would be interested in doing a similar hunt. Problem here is that almost all big game tags are draw, and only archery deer or turkey are over the counter.

I'm a licensed guide and do many hunts with high success.

I also do summer time (night) fishing trips at Lake Mead for striped bass, just in case you're into that.

defintiely have some interst in taking some bacon home this winter willing to trade archery or muzz deer or elk hunt tags are otc elk is spike only for muzz and hunters choice on archery muzz deer good chance to take some decent 24-26 inch bucks

I may be interested. I lived in CA. for awhile and enjoyed live catching hogs with a friend who had dogs that would bay them up. We would then grab the hind legs, get them on their side and hog tie them. We caught 13 that way and had tons of fun doing it.

Anyways I live in Oregon on 30 acres with access to thousands more behind the house. I took a decent buck with my bow just 150yds from the house during the 2nd season which is during the rut in Nov. If you would like to take more e me back at [email protected]

If you are interested in swaping a hog hunt for a turkey hunt on public land in N. Calif. let me know. Last year my friend and my dad and I harvested 6 Turkeys on public land in N. Calif. All were mature toms beards 8" or better except for two which were jakes.

I've wanted to shoot pigs for a long time. Here in Idaho, we can hunt deer and elk with OTC tags. I live here and have done this my whole life.

I make no promises about book heads, but I always find mature bucks; I've actually taken 3 B&Cs. Anything we did would be on public ground, but you won't see any hunters other than those walked in with us.

I'm in southern Oregon and I could line you out on lots of different things. Southern Oregon Elk, Blacktail, Benchleg (blacktail cross), Turkey hunting, Salmon fishing on the Rogue River, Steelhead (winter or summer). Let me know if any of this sounds interesting. I have wanted to take a hog for several years and have not been lucky enough to connect.
