Tons of birds still, the opener was a tad slow due to too much corn still standing, but that is getting take care of now, as the birds move out of the picked fields and into the sloughes area they are really piling up. Hunting season isn't over yet time to head to SD and kills ring-necks.

The winter is taking a pretty good toll on the pheasants this year,we just Hope the snow don't keep piling up and the -30 below crap goes away.

I'll be there Oct 16 to hunt that weekend with my family. Pheasant feed Friday night. The whole town comes out for it. Hunting private land. Sounds like it's going to be a good year. Good luck to you.

we saw around 130-150 birds a day 60% of them roosters, The amount of birds is unbeleivable in some area's,
we had some great 40-60 bird flushes.
Even with 90% of the corn still standing it was a awesome hunt.
The bean fields was just getting done so those birds got pushed in sloughes, treebelts, creekbottoms, brodering Crp and that really was some great shooting in those area's.
