trade mt elk hunt for eastern mt deer hunt

i live in dillon and cannot get the time or money to scout in eastern mt. for some quality mule deer hutning. so we thought maybe the same was going for someone out there who wanted to hunt elk. so we would take you out or give valuable info on where to see and hunt elk. we obviously can't guarantee a kill and would not expect that from you, we just want to exchange infor from a serious hunter who knows trophy mule deer, and has experience and knows the land and the deer, as we do for elk. anyone interested let me know

Hello, I have read your post and am interested in a few more details. I live close to Sidney and have my whole life. I live for hunting season and know a big deer when I see one. We used to take horses and pack into the Wilderness area North of the park, but as I'm sure you know the wolves have ruined the elk hunting in that area. So we are looking for new country to hunt elk. I'm looking mainly for horns I have had the opportunity to kill a cow or two and a couple of smaller bulls. I guess I'm saying I don't want to go all the way to Dillon and shoot a cow or a spike. ( Hope that doesn't sound too selfish) But am not counting on a garanteed hunt either. Seeing some elk and being in new country is a sucsess to me. I have many good resourses for Big Muley's and Whitetail. So if this interests you we can chat some more. Thanks Alot
