Arkansas Hog Hunt with Dogs for ????????

flyingbrass,how have you been?

What does a hunt like that cost?Just curious, how is the meat,
and are they as mean as people say?

I do have access to hunting ground in Cuba MO. just east of Rolla.I have never hunted it for turkey, but when I was deer hunting last fall I was being over runned by them. The neighbor's say their everywhere.I think the spring hunt would be the best.I only hunted turkey one time before in IL where I live and was done in 5 minutes after shooting time. I don't really care for it.

I don't know of anyone who charges so I guess it is a free hunt in a way. We don't always kill them either so it can be like catch and release if you like but nobody will fuss if you kill them all because they are a threat to wildlife among many other issues. They are mean and I will attach a photo of a bulldog that backed down from a hog after a scuffle. Meat, it taste just like pork, lol. No bacon on a wild hog and the parts are smaller but if you harvest the small and medium sized ones there is no different than the pork from the butcher shop, or in todays economy, Wal-Mart.
