Cow tag

My dad has a Unit 90 deer tag in Wyoming and i would like for him to be able to pick up a cow tag for him in either Coloradao, Wyoming, Idaho or Utah. We will be hunting 15 through 31 of October, so late Oct or Early Nov would be best time avalaible for us. Does any one have or know someone willing to sell a cow permit. The old man is 65 and never shot an elk. Thanks for any info.

There are a lot of leftover cow tags for the 3rd and 4th seasons in Colorado. You would have to hunt public ground, but it would be hard to get on private as a single hunter anyway. Here is the link for leftover tags:

Look in the KSL.com classifieds. I've seen and few people advertizing cow tags but don't recall what tre price. One was $400 which seemed a little steep to me. Good luck.
