Send me an e-mail [email protected]

Deadline for NR Waterfowl is coming up in July If your going to deer hunt you should get in the draw for the NR Waterfowl too. That way you get some Pheasent and duck & goose hunting done at the same time.

Time is getting close for those who want to draw a west river or east river tag.

Talked to you about the east river option the other night. Drawing for the west is on the 11th.

How did the hunting go? I may be in touch with you for a swap for next year if you're still interested.

They did great got a couple of really nice ones this last year a really good 6x5 that was really heavy, and 10x11 both taken on the same farm, Trying to get some pictures of them from my nephew. Pheasant hunting is still going good top-notch.

Time to put in for NR waterfowl so you can hunt both waterfowl and deer at the same time, NR water fowl is a draw, NR deer is a draw too.

I got to say the pheasant hunting was out of this world 75-100 bird flushes, it was just like the olden days of the early 70's man the dogs just couldn't keep up, we ended up with 83 birds for 3 days of hunting, The Whitetail's was rutting really good too,We saw and jumped some big bucks one 5x5 was just huge about 18-20" wide with mass and long tines crossed righ in front of us chasing a doe, we couldn't of stop him if we wanted to. If only we had a tag for him in Late Nov.

Clark county is the place to go, check out the buck that was just taken there.

Still Time to hunt up some birds with snow on the ground it will be a good hunt still. Lots of corn in the fields still, good cover and alot of birds.

Thanks for keeping us all updated Gator. Sounds like lots of fun over there. I sure hope to join you sometime for a hunt. Let's see some pics!

I got some hard pictures But I don't have a scanner, I'm going to send them to some-one to post for me. The pheasants was unbeleivable this year some many birds, they extended the season because there is still to many roosters,(Jan 9th) Rooster are mean little cuz because in bad weather they will kick a hen out of her nice warm spot and take it over, then the hen will have a hard time making it thru the winter without good cover to sit out a snow storm, that means less young next spring.
