Hello,

I would like to discuss the possibilities of swapping an extermely high quality Iowa whitetail hunt (your choice of weapon) for a like kind hunt Mule Deer hunt. I've recently been bitten by the Mule Deer bug!

I own and hunt several hundered acres premiere whitetail habitat. We manage for mature animals and have good success (i'm not an outfitter).

I am looking for a similiar quality bow hunt - serious and experience is preferred.

These are the kind of bucks you would hunt in Iowa - bucks I have harvested in the last 3 consecutive years ...

Wish I had something worthy of offering in exchange. The only thing I have to offer that might be comparable is a high country mule deer hunt. I wouldn't say that the chance for a B&C buck is there but getting a good 4 point isn't out of the question, not to mention a bear as well. Those are some sweet bucks.

Them some really nice bucks in your pictures. Your post said that you wanted a trophy mule deer in exchange but have you got any preference point for any of the western states? I live and hunt here in Colorado and if you have a couple of points we can get you into some good 170"+ bucks. Most likly we would have to hunt in 07'. I myself dont hunt with a bow but can take you up and be your spotter and scouter. If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. Jovan

Gunnut - thanks for the response. Colorado is a great place and I already have my secret spots for when I do draw a tag :)

I would also consider a quality Elk or Mt Lion hunt.

Thanks again,
Chris

Start putting in for Wyoming, I have two points for Iowa.

Did a couple of swaps with guys in Wisconsin and Illinois, the hunts turned out real nice for both sides.
