$1000 budge for a scope; which one???

I am going to be buying a scope soon for my longer range hunting rifle. I want to be able to use it up to 1000yds (at the range). I have always used Leupold scopes and that is what I was planning on getting, unless there is something else I should look at. I have used a Leupold 6.5-20 50mm varmint scope and really like it. I want the 50mm objective, large tube and I like the idea of the CDS type turrets too. SO any suggestions.
