New Binocs - what would you do?

In the market for a new set of binocs and trying to narrow the field down - I'm leaning towards the Leica Duovid 10 15x50's. Not really one to want to carry a spotter so thinking that these would work nicely as both, something for hand held and then on a tripod for the 15's. Let me know what you think or your experiences with them.

I went with Swarovski 15's...Not your brand, but for me looking through the 15's is just so easy and glassing for long periods a breeze...

Leica is great quality glass. Still I would do what mmwb says and look through everything I could get my hands on and then decide. fatrooster.

I can't vouch for the model your looking at. +1 and look through the differnt glass and decide from there. I personally love my Leica Ultavid's, others swear by Swaro's. Is one better than the other, doubt it as IMO its just personal opinion, all great glass.

Good info as far as looking through a few. I've owned Swaro and Leica. Glass in both were great but certainly prefer the feel of the Swaro's (eyecups and in hand).
