I know having range finder built in is nice but is it $1,500 more nice? Really ant talking about range finder. Looking more for what do people think of quality of glass? Thanks

Hard to say, but I have a pair of Swaro 15x56 and I have a pair of 10x42 Geovids. If I was buying new today I would by the Geovids for sure. It is so nice to be able to range find without switching optics and they gather light and have much better optics than your normal monocular rangefinder. When time is of the essence it makes things go so much smoother. For me, they have been worth it.

The quality of glass will come down to you. They both, no doubt, are exceptional optics. When shopping for optics a few years ago, I was leaning toward Leica and ended up getting the Swaros. I'm not saying the the Swaros are superior, but the view and ergonomics were better for me. The Leicas, like the Swaros, stood heads above any of the other glass I looked through.

First thing I'd consider is how you're going to mount each to a tripod. IMO, Swarovski wins that category hands down. Same with warranty and customer service should you ever need it, and I own Geovids.
