meopta meopro vs. vortex talons

I was at an rmef banquet and was able to get a great deal on a set of 8x42 meopta meopro binos.i currently have a set of vortex talons in same size.well one of them is gonna go and I was wondering if anybody has any experience with the meopta I like my vortex but do like that the meopta is made in the usa thanks.
