vortex razor hd 11-33x50

Only at the outdoor show. Never used one in the field. Your really better off buying a bigger set of binos and using a light tripod. Your not gaining a lot for the money spent on a 50mm spotter. IMO

...Says the guy who's never used one in the field.

Here's a video I did comparing different 50mm class spotters when I got mine in February.

I own one with the whole tripod setup. Extremely light and crystal clear with the Razor HD glass. Also, I don't know of a 33 power pair of binoculars so saying you're better off buying a pair of binoculars is like comparing apples to oranges. Each serve a purpose. It's one helluva scope.

It's always an adventure!!!

I have used the 50mm Nikon ED in the field. I stand by what I said.

EXCEPT - the Razor 11-33x50 is only 25 oz!!! With the SS tripod it weighs right at 3 lbs. Extremely light and for a hunter that wants the variable power a fixed pair of binos doesn't quite cut the mustard. However, just like rifles, it would be nice to have one of each, and for every situation but if you can afford that then I really want to be your friend. :)

It's always an adventure!!!
