I'm looking for the best scope for this kind of money, I'm on a budget n I'm a lil out of touch since my divorce. I'm looking for a 2.5x10 or 3x9 WITHOUT the yardage reticle(not my thing). Like the Nikon Monarch, heard good things about Vortex, but need help. Reading EVERYTHING I can on this trying to educate myself. HELP PLEASE.

THANK YOU,

Look at the sightron scopes to I bought one for my wife's 270 it works good and thewarranty is life time

There are a few Vortex scopes that may work for you or the new Zeiss Terra series. please feel free to give a call to discuss it.
We also still have a few of the Minox 2-10x40 Plex @ $249.99

If there is anything else that I can assist you with please let me know.

I put a Leupold vx3 3.5 to 10 on my favorite gun, a Winchester 270.
the scope has the CDS. I like the scope so much, I am thinking about switching my other rifles to it.

Look at the Minox 2.5 X 10
I was able to get one from Cameraland with the BDC type reticle for $300! Great glass. They (Minox) are connected with Leica and have a high end line of Binos in HD and non-HD. Good value for sure.

I own 2 kahles scopes that have proved to be a real bargan.
The 3X9X42mm was a close out at a local shop and the 2X7X36mm was from a discount site. Both are outstanding...edge-to-edge clear and crisp image. Paid in the $500 range for these years a go. I think they have canseled this line with the 1" tubes. My most expensive scope is a 1.75X6X32mm Leica with a 30mm tube. This unit is matched to my prize rig...a pre-64 M70 French walnut stocked featherweight in .358 Win. - This 6 1/4# rifle with this glass would make Wayne Van Zwoll envious! Like Mr. Wayne I like scopes that "look like they belong" to the rifle/caliber and are mounted low, close to the bore. Now that a veriable can be had with such a great range (like a 3X15) it makes sence to go that way.

Good luck

for the hunting I do I can't imagine anything better than the 3x9x40 zeiss conquest scope I have. MY maximum range is 300 yards and legal hunting hours, this scope can do all that and from the looks of it after 6 years and never needing to touch the turrets it's been zeroed for 6 years now I may never need to touch a turret.
