Vortex diamondback VS Leupold VX I

What is your opinion on these two scopes? Both are in the same price range.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-08-13 AT 06:44AM (MST)[p]After looking a couple times at both of these scopes ,I decided to go with the leupold VXI. Just looked brighter and clearer to me.
also had longer eye relief that I liked.

That's what I would have done. We put a diamondback on this year and although it is a great clear scope the eye relief is rather short for me as well when compared to my Leopold. You'll be pleased with your choice.

Also the Leupold is the only scope our local sports shop sells that offers over the counter replacement if things go bad.

If you think your scope is not working right ,just take it back and walk out with a new one,no sending it in a waiting for repair. That was a good selling feature in itself.
