I read alot on here people asking which optic's etc. I have been a long time Lieca bino lover and have what its worth my opinion on some glass. I love my Lieca Ultravids. They are approx 10 years of age, great glass. Im glad I bought them when I did, they have exploded on price since my investment.
However, this year I purchased a used pair of Vortex Razors. They where used very little earilier this hunting season, 2013 model. Got a very fair price so I purchased them as a back up for me or if a friend or family member needed to borrow a good pair of binos would have a 2nd pair to loan out.
I forced myself to use them during the MT deer season. Used them for 12 days. I am very impressed. I got no eye fatigue/headaches from long periods of use, very clear. I would say my Lieca's have a very small edge on low light capabilities, but not by much.
My father has a pair of Swaro SLC's. We have said that the Lieca's and Swaro's are very close, the Vortex's are right there too, just a slight step down.
For the money aspect, if I had to pick 1 pair for the money of what the going rate on these bino's are today, the Razors would get my buissness.
