I recently bought a Ziess spotter and a Ziess carbon fiber tripod(made by Manfrotto) but the tripod is too heavy for backpacking. My question is, what are you guys using for a good backcountry tripod?
Good is a subjective term. I have a Vortex High Country. It is a good tripod for the price range. If you can put out enough cash, there are no doubt much better.
