I bought a pair of the Viper 8x32 HD bino's a couple of months ago and used them for deer hunting last fall. I am quite impressed with their brightness and clarity, but they weigh a little over 20 ounces and are a bit too heavy for me to wear around my neck all day. They do however work fine with the shoulder harness. They are close to the quality of the more expensive euro bino's without the high end price.
