Leica v. Swarovski Customer Service

Just a heads-up for those wondering between the two brands...

I needed replacement objective lens caps for my wife's Swaro's and my Leica's. A quick phone call to each company's customer service number and new caps were in the mail.

Swarovski was very helpful and sold them to me at retail cost.

Leica called me back within a few minutes to say they were sending a pair to me for no charge, not even shipping.

Swarovski is known for the best customer service and their repair this spring of my spotting scope eyepiece justifies that... but Leica wins this round. Great job Leica!

Thanks for sharing, I go through a pair a eye caps every year with swaro. I think there about $20.

I have never had a problem with leica customer service! I have lost quite a few objective covers and I call and they send me more for free!

They've both sent me free ones recently. maybe it's who you get ahold of.

Not really in the same classs of optic, but nobody comes close to Leupold for customer service. they're crazy good.

440sixpack, agreed. Leupold replaced my dad's old 3-9x40 Vari-Xi that had a broken reticle with a brand new 4.5-14x50 Vari-Xiii.

That is a major value upgrade... all because they no longer serviced the old scope that broke.
