The TLS APO with a DSLR is what I use.
Its not the cheap option.
The TLS APO is $500.00 and a basic DSLR body is around $500.00 more.
A good DSLR body can run you $1,500.00
Just depends on what you want to spend.
The cheaper option is to go with the DCBII Swing adapter and a point and shoot.
If you were going to go with the point and shoot, there is no question, I would go with the Sony cyber shot RX100-III.
This is one of the hottest digiscoping combos in the birding world.
The birders are getting awesome results with this combo.
But, if you have the money to spend, you can't beat a Canon 7D with the TLS APO.
If you really are going to get into it, get on the birding sites.
There is way more info there and no one is using the tines up adapter.
Its so much more diverse. On the hunting forums, its all tines up adapter and the point and shoot they sell with it.
No kidding, there is endless other options out there that are being used, they are cheaper, and can be more effective.
Thats just my observations though.
Just remember, the adapter serves no purpose beyond mounting the camera to the scope.
The camera is what is going to be the vital factor.
Check your pm's I sent you some stuff.
