Well.... I decided i would quit doing construction and be poor again and go back to school..... I need a pair of 15s for some hunts I will be on the rest of this year but also need some 10s. Right now I'm selling my Leicas so I can get 10s and 15s...... So the question is what should I look into. My price will be around 1700 for both pairs. Thinking either razors or conquests for the tens. Thinking kaibabs or maybe the razor 50 spotter. Anything else I should be considering you guys can think of? I will probably be buying them all as demos.

I've been looking through lots of glass lately....

I highly recommend the Zeiss conquest hd 15s. I also like the cabelas euro hd in that size, too. These are on par with the slc hds. I know I'd catch heat for this and the swaros would be easier to sell if you got in a pinch but they cost way more and these other two are just as good or better.

I'd take a nikon ed. 50 over the razor 50 spotter. Esp if you can find the 13-40 eyepiece. I don't want to hear about the warranty. I broke my 50 in half and nikon sent me a new one at no cost.

Don't waste your money on the kiabab or vulture binos. They suck. I own a vortex hslr rifle scope, so I'm not a vortex hater by any means but I'd never own a pair of thier binos or a spotter. Thier razor binos are ok but I'd rather have the euro hd, conquest hd or older slc over those.

I have a nikon ed60 fieldscope that will absolutely smash the razor hd spotters, even the big 85 mm one at low light.

These are my opinions based on in the field use at good and low light, not sitting at the optics counter at a store looking at a deer mount 59 yards away.

If you can afford all swaro then do it, but for the money.......this is what I recommend.

"That's a special feeling, Lloyd"
