Vortex Skyline ?

I do not see the Skyline ED on the Vortex web page anymore.

Did they stop making them?

I bought one when they first came out and dropped it last fall, and broke the eye peice.

I sent it into Vortex and they sent me a brand new Skyline ED, but it had some up grades like fine and coarse focus, and a camera reciver ring that my old one did not.

But the intruction booklet has the old Skyline in it. Not the upgraded one.

The glass seems to be as good or better the my first Skyline.

Is this scope pretty much the same glass that they are selling today?

Either way,, I am very happy to have them replace it.

They stopped making them I believe 5 years ago??? They discontinued them when the viper line came out.
Was yours a regular skyline that you had before? That would also be the difference because the regular one didn't have the ed (hd) glass in it. If not The reason your glass seems better is because the coatings on there glass fades over time..... (First hand experience) and when you get the new glass in them the coatings are all perfect.

The ed always had the fine adj too

I have a skyline Ed and it does not have the fine focus, just the coarse focus.
