Vortex Razor 10x50 HD Binos

>I sold my Leica Geos
>last year due to surgery
>bills. I might buy some
>Vortex Razors. Good binos?

I didn't think the Razors were that good and certainly not for the price. I just spent a few weeks looking at the best binos I could afford or wanted to pay for. I spent several evenings right at dusk in low light conditions at Cabelas looking at the Cabelas(Meopta)HD, Zeiss Conquest HD and the Vortex Razor.

I was able to eliminate the Razors pretty quickly. The were nowhere near as sharp as the other two and the edge to edge contrast, color and clarity were nowhere near as good to my eyes.
The Razors were 300.00 more than the Zeiss and about a hundred more than the much nicer Meopta HD's.

The Zeiss were the best to me in low light conditions and of the three they had the sharpest edge to edge clarity and most natural color. They were just so sharp and clear compared to the Vortex Razor's.
The Meopta's were really close and the only difference between them to me was that the color of the Meopta HD's were slightly warmer in tone and not as neutral or natural as the Conquest HD's.
I didn't really like the ergonomics of the Meopta HD's so the decision was pretty easy for me plus Cabelas was having a club offer on the Zeiss at the time so I was able to get them for $850.00

The Vortex Razors are way overpriced if you ask me. The warranty is great but the initial quality of the optics doesn't warrant the purchase to me.
Are they good binos? IMHO they are lacking for the high price.
