LAST EDITED ON May-26-15 AT 02:03PM (MST)[p]My Bino straps broke this weekend . They where getting old and stretch out anyways.Mine where just the old style. Whats new and works well other there? I dont not like the bags that strap to your body. I have a Alaskan bino bag? I guess that what it is called. I may just get the same kind I had unless there is something better out there. I guess I am old and set in my ways. ;-)

I feel your pain I had the same luck I bought the KUIU bino harness last year by far THE BEST one on the market it does NOT bounce around I ride dirt bikes & 4 wheelers back into some of the country I horn hunt & NOT one time using this system have they moved !!! I can not say enough good things about them !! they are easy to set up & even easier to use. I had crooked horn & bad lands & one other brand cant remember the name they were all in my opinion JUNK !! 2 sizes lg & xl I have 15x50s so the xl is the perfect fit & there is still enough room in the for some small stuff I have the rain cover stuffed in the bottom & have put my Garmin 62 GPS on top of the binos & still had NO problems I don't think u will find a better system !! Oh & if u don't like the bino case it also has a snubber strap system that snaps in place. I have not used it so cant say how it works but I would assume it works as Good as the rest of it

I also bought the Kuiu bino straps. Had to modify to meet my needs. Did not want to use the pouch, when using the elastic strap that holds the binos(10x42 EL's) it was too tight and folded the binos in so you had to readjust each time you used. Totally un acceptable. So I cut the elastic strap, punched holes in each end and tied together with nylon cord the proper length.

The elastic strap is way to tight to go around a pair of 15's. And that is supposed to be one of the value of straps, to hold big heavy binos.

Also, I like my binos to ride high on my chest so when using there is as little movement as possible when bring up to my eyes. Had to cut the straps and cut out a piece and tie together with nylon cord to get short enough.

But that is just me. Did talk to Kuiu reps at Conventions and they just rolled there eyes...LOL.

What is FHF ? Pictures would be nice to . :) I am still shopping. Haven't seen the Sitka one,I will look it up. Which ones does Sportsman Warehouse carry?

Guys,

Have looked at the Alaskan Bino Bag and the Badlands models.
My Zeiss Victory 8X45 T RF are an unusual size. What size bino harness would fit them best? Thanks in advance!

I've used several, and for me, the Kuiu is by far the best. Does exactly what it should. It's lightweight, protects the optics, and holds my binos securely against my body when not in use.

Lagriz u can go onto kuiu.com go to shop go to accessories & go to the bino harness & it has their sizing chart or contact KUIU customer service they have a lot of info on the different bino mfgs & sizes I have Vortec 15x50s so the XLG was what they suggested I bought my son one for his Bday & he has Vortec 10x42s I got him the Large they fit his perfect
