Swarovski 95mm

A couple of questions. What style of hunting do you do?
Do you digiscope?

If you are a hunter that hikes then I would say no. That's a much bigger scope. But you have the option of also getting the 65mm or 80mm objective lens. So you could change out the 95mm objective to the objective of your choice. Personally I do most of my owne hunting by backpack. I will be in the mountains for several days at a time and will not pack the 95mm objective. But I have both the 95mm and 65mm objective. So I use the 65mm objective on my hiking hunts. But when I bought my ATX 95 I was out truck hunting with friends and I still had my ATM 65 with 25x50 eyepiece because I had not sold it yet. I spotted a buck way out there and had the opportunity to set up the 95mm with 30x70 eyepiece and compare it to the 65mm with 25x50 eyepiece. The difference in 20x magnification was huge. I could not tell how big the buck was with the 25x50 eyepiece at the far distance but could definitely count the points with the 30x70 eyepiece. I also later compared my 65mm ATM with my 65mm ATX. I could not see any difference in quality.
If you digiscope, that 95mm with 30x70 eyepiece gets you that much closer to your subject.
Hope that was helpful, fatrooster.

There is a difference, the x series performs significantly better at distance. Under a 1 mile, they are close. Get beyond that, the x series really outshines the Sts and M series..

thanks fatrooster that help a lot. I hunt a lot of different states so I will be buying both 95mm and 65mm and selling my old scope
