I am looking to purchase a new spotter in the 20 60x85 optics range. what one out of these 3 would you guys recommend
the hawke is a great value and I have heard relly good things about the zen ray. I am looking for the best glass quality and sharpest image weight is not a huge concern for me as this will spend most of its time glassing elk bear moose and deer at my cabin I wont be packing it a whole lot.
and I dont want to buy a used Swarovski so Swarovski is out of the question I really dont want to go over 1500$ but would feel better with the price range of the hawke

I have not heard much about Hawke & I personally do not know anyone that has or has used Hawke . I have a pair of the Vortex binos 15 x 50s they are awesome I looked at Zen Rays & I was not impressed with the quality or clarity or their warranty either . I am not sure what type of warranty Hawke carries but Vortex is a hands down they don't care if you broke it or if it was a manufacture flaw they replace it . If you can find a dealer that carries all 3 brands do your own visual test !!

The Vortex Razor HD 20 x 60 x85 should fit right in your price range. Pretty good glass for the money. If you have any problems just send it back. It comes back looking like brand new. I have the straight model. Makes it pack pretty easy for a bigger scope. I think you will be happy with it.
