I have a sheep hunt I'm scouting for. Glassing 4 miles plus with my 65 mm spotter is not effective.
Does anyone know where I can rent optics like a 95 mm spotter ?
Would love to buy but not budget....

Thanks,
Greg

Haha.....I'm sure I couldn't afford your daily rate and deposit. I'm sure that is great glass. If I owned one I don't think I would let it out of my hands.

I would be willing to loan you my 884 kowa awesome glass BTW,, but i will be going with you to help you glass, I have done this twice in the last 4 years, they were both in Southern California, both successful hunts,, What state are you hunting in?

That is very generous of you but I would only borrow them if you came along so you could help glass. I would never borrow something that expensive cause I would be scared to death to damage them.
I am hunting southern Az east of Yuma. Unit is 46BE, it is wilderness refuge with very limited road access. You are either hiking 4-7 miles or glassing 4-7 miles.....

When does your season start ? I have a bad case of sheep flu, if the timing is right i will drive there and help glass, hike and pack out game and enjoy every minute of it..

Season is Dec 1st - 31st.....I will be there 1st - 15th and later if I need to. You are welcome to come and help glass but you do need a refuge access permit. It is free and can be ordered by snail mail.

Once again thanks for your offer to help!

That is a good lead.....Thank you!
I would prefer to rent them verses borrow as this kind of glass is expensive and I wouldn't want to damage or loose someone's personal optics.

Thanks for the tip....I will check it out.

I started out with 3 other buddies offering to help but I am now down to one other buddy and he is gonna miss opener due to an elk hunt also. Sheep unit is very remote and access to sheep country is by foot or horses only....I have made 3 scouting trips so far and found rams twice. There is goods rams but you definitely have to work for them.
