Schmidt&Bender 5-25x56 PM II/LP

I ordered a rifle that will be for long range target shooting only, no hunting. I was thinking about putting the S&B 5-25x56 PM II/LP on top. Do any of you have experience with it? What reticle do you use and is the illuminated reticle worth it? For some reason I can't seem to get into illuminated reticles, but maybe it's time.

I've never owned one myself but from what a few guys I'd consider experts say the S&B is the best scope for this use you can buy. I don't think it gets any better.

That said I couldn't justify the price difference between S&B and Nightforce.

Those are my feelings, as I'm seriously considering Nightforce too. The rifle will be done by the new year so I have time to shop. I've actually been shopping for 5 or so years and always struggle with these big purchases. No one seems to sell their used S&B scopes, that might make it a little easier if it was $1000 less.
