Trying to find some pricing information on some older 15x56 SLC's. The pair I am looking at are the army green body and according to swarovski they were produced in 1999 and sent for repairs in 2007. I know some of the newer models that are used are going for around $1500 or so but can't find anything on these older sets.

The newest ones retail at about $2500, and still bring $1800+ used. The older models are still worth $1200-1400 or so.

Kicking myself in the butt for not buying a pair of them a couple years ago when the discontinued them they were going for 1,400 new

NEU's (dark green) generally go for $1400 - $1500 in good condition.
Original SLC's (light green) $1100 - $1300 depending on condition.
That being said, it is possible to "upgrade" the originals to NEU specs, i.e. swarodur and swarobright lens coatings. Ocular and objective lenses are replaced. The binos must be Swaro USA and not gray market. It will cost $300. There is a chance that the binos you mention in your original post were upgraded in 2007. Get the serial # and contact Swaro USA. They will let you know the work history. Good luck!
