Scope Mounts for Muzzy.

Hi guys, with Utah's new scope allowance on muzzleloaders I am planning on mounting a 30mm scope on my Winchester Apex. This rifle has a round barrel all the way back to where the scope mounts, and as such traditional flat bottom bases are incompatible. I called Talley and they don't make a mount that will work for this rifle. Do any of you guys know what the best way/product to mount scopes up in this scenario?

Thank you for any help you are willing to give.

My understanding is the Apex is a rebranded CVA Kodiak. My buddy owns one as well. The first place I looked for him was DNZ mounts. They are a one piece mount and is the only thing I put on my rifles now. What we found that worked for his gun was the CVA mount for muzzleloaders made before 2009. It has a 4 screw pattern. If you look a the two photos they have on their site, you can see if one of those two patterns will work. Anyway, hope this info helps.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. I will check these out for sure as they look to be a perfect fit for what I am needing.

If your muzzy does have the same screw pattern as a pre 2009 cva I have a picatinny rail you can have.

I ordered it from EGW last year but got the wrong one and never sent back.

If you live close to Nephi, UT you would be welcome to come see if it fits.

I live in Salem. I would be glad to purchase the rail from you if it looks like it will work. I still need to measure and then I can get you the measurements.

Here is a pic of the bolt pattern on my muzzy GLEDEASY. Do you think this will work with your rail?
