Zeiss Terra

Anyone familiar with the Zeiss terra 4-12 42mm with the RZ 8 reticle I am looking at putting one on my Savage light weight hunter 6.5 Creed

I have one on a .280 and have liked it okay. It is clear and bright and has held zero for me just fine. The reputation has been kinda all over the place from others but my experience has been good. I have never had to send it back so I don't know how they are on customer service if you have issues. I would say they are on par with a Leupold VXII or a Nikon Prostaff 5. Also I have only hunted with it a couple times because I'm primarily a muzzy hunter so my field experience is not extensive. I have spent a fair amount of time with it on a range though.

Don't know anything about that scope but I can tell you one thing zeiss customer service sucks . You better hope you don't have to send it back.
