Rangefinder Choice

So I have talked myself into thinking that I need a rangefinder. Who's to argue? Thing is, I like to by the best but can't ever afford it, so instead I settle for buying the best value. I have done a fair amount of research when, low-and-behold, the local store currently has both the rangefinders I have narrowed the choice down to available at the exact same price ($350). These are the Leupold RX-1200i TBR with DNA and the Sig Kilo2000.

I believe this is the normal full price for the Leupold, but a $150 markdown on the Sig (probably because Sig has put out newer models). So the question is which would I be happier with in the long run. I know that a particular TV hunting personality that I respect a great deal uses the Leupold, but on the other hand I see a lot more people on the forums singing the praises of the Sig.

Any experience or opinions on the subject would be welcome.

My hunting spot is so secret, not even the elk have found it yet.

I doubt you could go wrong with either. I like my Sig, as do many others. It is a popular choice with long range shooters that compete, too.

Go try them both out. I did and felt the leupold had a more solid well constructed feel with sharp, quick, and easy operating electronics. We have 3 in our hunting group and they all have work flawlessly.

I have the Leupold, I believe the Kilo ranges farther.

I have the sig and it works good. I had narrowed it down to those two choices and thought I would try the sig. But I love all of my leupold products. I would buy another SIG in a heart beat.

I have ATN LASERBALLISTICS 1000 digital rangefinder. It can connect with your phone, your Smart HD-Optics, and even with your traditional rifle scopes, very useful option! With such device you will never miss at any distance! Look full review on this site - https://www.atncorp.com/range-finder

I have the Sig...it is awesome! I've had it range out to around 1300 yards hand held. I've never mounted it on a tripod, but have heard it will go over 2000 yards. It's super fast and accurate as well. I'm sure the Leupold is good too, and I'm sure you'd be happy either way.

I had the vortex 1500 was not much better than the 1000, if at all I was very disappointed. I took it back and got this sig kilo 2200 Mr. That thing is amazing. I ranged the high school behind my house at 2700 yards the water tower at 2000 yards cows at 1200 yards. I got the 2200 for $425
