I am looking for an inexpensive spotting scope for the target range only that will be able to tell me where I am shooting. The above scope is on sale for $179.00. What can you tell me about Barska? Can I see where I am shooting at 500 yards?

You will have no problem seeing 500 yards. But it will be lacking in clarity compared to other more expensive optics. But at that price how can you go wrong?
