Just bought a Vortex 15-45 x 65 HD spotter & bought the Vortex High Country tripod has anyone had any issues with this setup ??

I used one for a few years, the head is worthless. Broke two legs, but I really abuse my stuff.

thanks for the info this is the 2017 version I ordered I guess they changed a few things on it . For the price & no more than what I am going too use it for it should work .

I just hate having the head move, I put on a manfrotto 700rc2 and it worked better.

just got the tripod yesterday & set it up , seemed pretty solid after attaching the quick release collar. I am not impressed that it doesn't have a handle to move the scope around that little knob attached is a Damn joke. I will be looking for a attachment for that . Headed out to do some pre horn hunt scouting this weekend will see how it works
