Glassing Tips

He is absolutely right. I Just started putting my binoculars on a tripod a couple of years ago and it makes all the difference in the world.l use to take a lawn chair that had good arm rest so I could set my elbows on and that would keep me pretty steady. But nothing compares to a tripod. I have my spotting scope on a tripod a pair of 20X70 binoculars on a tripod and a small set of 10 x42 around my neck and I can sit in my lawn chair all day. I haul all this in my side by side or on a horse.

Nothing is going to be as good as glass on a tripod. I don't haul a chair around, but one of those thick, soft garden pads to kneel on, makes for sitting on the ground much nicer.
