Spotting Scope Recommendation

Looking for recommendations on a long range shooting spotting scope. I've been faithful to the Vortex and Leupold scope, but I'd like to hear some other suggestions.

Me too!!

Why change a good thing. Vortex good price, quality, and as good of warranty in the industry. Yes you could pay more I don't know if you would improve.

I've looked through Mavans. I think they are better than vortex razor!

I've compared them side by side and the Kowa spotter was clearer than the Swarovski we were looking at. They are less expensive as well. We own two of them.
You generally don't find them at a store, but from a local dealer.

Kowa?s or Swarovski are tops. I used vortex razor 85 and new swaro 90 side by side . Swaros were better and clearer. So if you have the money get high end Kowa or Swaro. If you are a trophy hunter trying to judge score you need top optics.

But for the money the vortex razors are tuff to beat. In most situations the glass is clear and you see what you need to see. You might miss a kicker where you won't with the better glass.

Definitely check out the Kowa spotters. I have a 66mm and 88mm and love them both. I sold an 80mm Swarovski and replaced it with the 88mm Kowa and think it was a wise decision.
