Has anybody else had the idea of trying to order a Pelican box for their spotter? While antelope hunting in Wyoming this year it occurred to me I should really do something to protect my $.
I've looked but they don't seem to make a box of a favorable size to hold a big spotter. I need approximately 20inchx8x8. Ive ordered and owned their boxes for sensitive locators and such, so I'm well aware they're expensive, but worth it!
Has some other company thought far enough to offer a specialized tough case like a Pelican for our spotters yet?

Look on Sportoptics.com that is where I bought mine. You can find them under the spotting scope section and then go to cases and accessories. I think mine was $150 which to me is a small price to pay to protect something you pay several thousand dollars for.

I have a sworoski spotter 80 mm and I bought a real nice plastic case at sams club it's air tight it has 2 latches in the front and 1 on each side.Im not sure what type of hunting you do. I put mine in my truck, side by side or even on my pack horse. I even have the $350.00 swor cover on my spotter. But I never leave home without it in the case. I have a lot of money invested to just bounce around. I would definitely invest in a case.

Take a look at the new VAULT Series by Pelican. I believe a V600 would be just the right size for your spotter and other gear. Four latches make them absolutely sealed and tight.

Harbor freight sells a knock off of the pelican for much cheaper.. that said, I don't know if it's a good knock off or not, but it might be worth a look during your search.
