which cell service is working best in the Utah mountains lately.
Also iPhone or android??

Not so much the phone but the Provider.....Verizon has best all around service most everywhere. My Son has AT&T and he always has to borrow my Verizon to make his calls on top of a mountain in the backcountry. My wife has the iPhone and I have the Samsung S4 but we both have Verizon.

+1 Verizon in the mtns of Colorado and about everywhere else I've been. Switched 10yrs ago and haven't looked back. Leavin sprint was like breakin up with a girl that didn't want u to leave!

Verizon in Ut Id, Nv Co and Wy, I always activate a pre paid phone for the fall.

On the Dutton last fall there were quite a few spots that my brother could call and get emails on his AT&T phone. I never was able to find a spot on that mountain for my Verizon phone. It was the first mountain for me were verizon didn't kick butt.
