zaberlain boots?

which ones ?? I looked at a couple of pairs in one of the sporting goods shops & they look like good boots !! the 1012 Vioz & the 980 Guides are both almost identical weight height construction & price $400 bucks I have been wearing Meindl boots for the last 7 or 8 years & love them But thought my next pair would be the Zams not sure if I want too spend an extra $100 just too check them out the Meindls have been soooo great a boot

Yeah I was looking at those 2 also.
If you really like the Mendals
You might be better off sticking with what works.

I know what u mean I have never had ANY issues with the Meindls lace them up & go but they are pushing the $300 mark Have not heard of anyone bragging about them wonder how long a pair will last I am 4 years now on my last pair of Meindls !!!

I own the 1012 Vioz. and the Guide 960.Both great
boots. Comfortable, durable and good looking.

I have previously owned, and worn out Meindl Perfect Hunters, Alaskans, and Denalis. All were great boots and I've been happy with Meindls but due to the fact I could get them 50% off through a pro deal! I decided to give the Zamberlan 960 Guides a try. They've been fantastic. I've only had them a few months so I can't speak to longevity, but comfort and performance have been top notch so far.

I also picked up the 960 guide, just cant find a size to fit my foot so I had to give them to my kid. Seems to be a durable and good quality boot though.

I have the Zamberlan 960 Guide boot, real good quality boot, wears real good. Great for backpacking. They have been waterproof so far. I also have had good luck with the Meindls.

I have a pair of 1012s, I love them. I've only had them one season and put a lot of miles on them, so far they look to be as rugged as they are comfortable.

I have looked at a few of them was online at Sportsman Whse a few weeks back & they are carrying Zamberlin boots now & had the 1012 on sale for $240 & of course all they had left were size 8 & 8 1/2 s That was a HELL of a deal

I bought the Guide 960 GTX's this year and used them on several backpacking trips in the Wyoming high country. Very solid boot with literally no break-in time required. Definitely would recommend them.
