6.5-300 whby versus 26 nosler

A new gun purchase but can't decide which is the flattest and the fastest would mainly use for deer and elk a sheep if I ever get drawn

Both are going to be barrel burners. it won't matter too much if you're not an avid shooter but it's a consideration.

If it were me since you said elk I'd look at a 7mm or 300 magnum. maybe the 28 Nosler if you want something different.
